Legacy Weapon #30 – Aether Revolt and Amonkhet Set Reviews

There are no teachers here in Legacy Weapon, just slightly more talkative students. Today, we look back at our Kaladesh predictions, review what has been happening with Aether Revolt cards, and give out lukewarm takes (like hot takes, but slower) on Amonkhet. Most importantly, chill, kick back, and remember that preparation is the best Legacy Weapon!

  • We’re Back! Again!
  • This was recorded prior to #29, so here we go into more detail on why we were away and give our apologies.
  • Jamie may be a spy. Jerry and Erin may have learned my secret. My terrible terrible secret.
  • Our Patreons are great.
  • Kaladesh! It was a thing!
  • We completely whiffed on one card, despite Jamie’s “Pick All The Things!” approach.
  • Aether Revolt. Also a thing.
  • Amonkhet. Wasn’t a thing when recorded. Now is a thing while we post. Presumably is still a thing when you listen.

Extra Ciriculars:

  • There is exactly one post in the forum, and it is lonely! And it’s not even in the “giving Drew a hard time” section!
  • The free, weekly, prize supported MTGO Legacy League is still going strong!
  • A growing mtg online community…not Legacy focused but still a friend of the show.   www.kitchentablemtg.com/forum
  • A content website covering MTG, and also Hearthstone that we are very proud to be a part of.   www.cardconfidants.com
  • The BEST place to go for magic podcasts, new, old, big and small.  The place we started and are happy to be a part of.   www.mtgcast.com

Banned card of the day?  uh…you know, I STILL can’t think of any banned cards off the top of my head. Maybe next time.

Sponsor: Our great Patreons and all the things they are certainly feeling.

I don’t really know what an RSS is, but I hear you should feed it. Subscribe to help!  http://www.legacyweapon.com/feed/podcast

I don’t really know what a Patreon is either, but I think this one looks hungry.  https://www.patreon.com/jamie7keller?ty=h
